Race Van / Sports Home Layout Guide and Prices

Choosing the right layout for your race van / sports home is quite a personal thing, what might be perfect for one person isn't necessarily going to work for someone else. It may be that you need a large garage to fit a motorbike or two for track days or motocross, or a garage for karting, moutain biking, etc. Some people like the idea of a race van type layout just for the convenience of having such a large storage space for everyday use, they can even be used as a work van during the week then for camping at the weekends, or are great for carrying road or mountain bikes. This page tries to give you examples of the kind of layouts you can fit in certain vans. Most of these race van furniture kits can be adapted to suit different vans. Some of the layouts give a larger garage, but at the expense of your living space. When designing your race van it's always a compromise and you basically have to decide on the best compromise to suit you. One important thing to consider when choosing a race van layout is your vehicles weight carrying capacity, if you intend on carrying heavy items it's important that you do not exceed this and also that anything is securely fastened.

You can combine different aspects of each layout to help create your own ideal conversion. We can also build race van /sports home furniture kits to your own design so if you have any different ideas please get in touch.

Below are example layouts and prices, these can be supplied as flat pack kits or can fitted for an extra cost. When supplied as flat pack all the panels come square so you will need to scribe them to match the side profile of your van so a good level of DIY skills is recommended. For full details of what is included in our kits and how to place an order please view the Ordering Process page.
